Day 8

Give the flesh what it needs and not what it want, it will feel so much better, that I can promise.

Breakfast
slice of  cheese
5 saltines
1 small apple
glass of water 

Lunch
1/2 tuna
1 piece of toast
glass of water

Dinner
1 cup of carrots
1 cup of string beans
2 slices of turkey
1 small apple
glass of water 

Movement
30 min Walk/Jog


Nice start today and I impressed myself with the longer jogging today and this made me very happy. Which means I gotta keep this up. I also will be including  sit ups to my workout, I need to work on the stomach area, because I need to work those muscles. My eating today went very well, and as planned, but I could feel temptation trying to creep up on me and I know it was from the enemy. He tried to tempt me into not working out and also not going through with my eating plan for the day. Well, once again I fought this temptation and made him very upset, because I won, that battle. #icandoitbecauseGodsaidit

3 slices of thin turkey lunch meat
slice of cheese
6 saltines
1/2 Grapefruit
1 glass of water

Dinner
1 1/2 pork steak
cup of corn
1/2 Grapefruit
1 glass of lemonade 

Snack
Raisins 

Movement
30 min walk/jog 

What a great day, God is amazing, temptation came on me after church, the restaurants in town had their food smells blasting in the air as I stopped at a store for some items. I am so proud of me for avoiding the temptation. This was a great week and an amazing start to this new walk. I know that test and trails will come, but God is with me. I declare that I will continue to stay on this healthy walk and get my temple the way it should be. I did about two small laps of jogging today and I am gonna work that in some more next week, during my workout along with some other exercises, so that I don't bore myself out. Well, tomorrow three day starts for me again and I am ready and expecting to have a great healthy week. #icandoitbecauseGodsaidit

Today was a kinda rest day for me, I didn't do any exercise, but I did make sure I moved around and I didn't over eat, and I think I did pretty good. I am pressing on to great health.

Yes my dinner had me full, and I think next time I will only do 1/2 cup of rice. I got a little carried away. This is the part of the walk for me, where I have to be careful and not eat over, but I am gonna keep trusting God to lead me on through this process. I got me some raisans, because I think a snack is what will be needed so that I don't cave in and wanna over eat on foods, that are no good. I made it to day four and I am very happy and all praises goes to God.  #icandoitbecauseGodsaidit

The last day of the 3 day diet ways of eating and now I will be careful as to how I eat these days 4 days off from the 3 day diet. My goal is to do no fried foods until next Friday. I didn't get any exercise in as I would have liked, but I did have some movement as far as cleaning and walking around in Walmart. Hello, my name is Casance Kendrick and being that my mom gave me such a unique name, a lot of people have a hard time pronouncing it, so I normally use my initials C and K from my first and last name, so you can call me CK. I was born in Thomaston Ga, and grew up in Molena, Ga a very small and quiet country town. I was always a chubby child growing up. The weight just settled as I grew older, simply because I was not active as I should have been. I did diets on and off at certain times of my life and I would either stick to it a week or two. I surprised myself once by actually sticking to it for almost four weeks and I lost a good bit of weight, but sadly that didn't go on, because I gave up. Many times I failed, but I was determined to get back at it. Well, I am recording this, because I believe this is my season and this is my time to start focusing on my health. I am not getting younger and there are so many things that I want to do, but I can't do the them if I don't keep my temple in good health. I strongly believe that our bodies are a temple of Christ and we should take care of them. I have failed and I am so glad that I serve a forgiving God and that I can get it right. 
 I am now at 280 pounds and  my desired weight is 200 for now,my target number is to lose 20 pounds or more a month. I will keep setting goals for myself like this and I am starting my walk today!!!


I don't know how this walk will turn out,but I do know with God leading me. I can achieve all that I desire and I will stay in tune in his word all the way. I will be recording what I eat,  the exercises I do and other things that helps motivates me with  this walk. I will not be using any special pills, I will be using what I have at home as my workout equipment, the road on my street will be my track on some days. My bike, and treadmill, and jump rope will be my gym equipment, during my start out. My phase that I will keep on my mind and on my tongue daily is "I Can Do It Because God Said It". I think we all need to have those words that helps us personally and keeps us going when we want to accomplish somethings. I pray that God will use me and that whoever follows me will also benefit from what I share.
